In 2024, Krusenstiernska gården celebrated 150 years -  it was celebrated with wonderful events and delicious anniversary cakes.

The 150th anniversary was celebrated throughout the year with a range of activities and events. A symbol of the anniversary has also been produced - in the form of a flower wreath that Hermina von Krusenstierna drew when she was young.

The Krusenstierna manor (Krusenstiernska gården) i Kalmar is the only preserved one of the many bourgeois country farms or gardens that once surrounded the fortress city of Kalmar. The main building has been preserved intact since the 19th century and the house is filled with heirlooms that the family has collected over several generations. The farm was bought in 1874 by Hermina von Krusenstierna, who three years later married her cousin Lieutenant Philip von Krusenstierna. Hermina was the daughter of Louise and Carl Mauritz von Krusenstjerna and many of the items in the home came from Hermina's grandfather, colonel and East Indiaman Mauritz Salomon von Krusenstierna. After Hermina's death, the farm was inherited by the couple's maidservant and friend, Hulda Nydell, who in turn donated the farm to Kalmar city and Kalmar county's antiquities association in 1940. Both buildings and garden are listed as cultural monuments. The Krusenstiern farm is also a clone archive for old, local varieties of pear and apple trees. Today, Krusenstiernska gården is run by a foundation with representatives of the city of Kalmar, which inherited the land and buildings, and of the Kalmar county museum (formerly the antiquities association), which inherited all the inventory. A representative of the family association is a deputy on the foundation's board, currently the chairman of the family association, Otto von Krusenstierna. During the summer, guided tours are held in the main building, which is now a museum, and a café is run in the garden.

Opening 2014

When Krusenstiernska gården was inaugurated for the 2014 season, Otto and Eva von Krusenstierna acted as host couple in Hermina and Philip's place.
