The Krusenstierna archive
The Krusenstierna archive is owned and managed by Kalmar County Museum. The archive was mostly collected as a family archive by Philip Herman von Krusenstierna (1875-1938). His children donated the archive to Kalmar County Museum, where it was moved in 1991. The archive is housed in two archive rooms and contains documents, books, letters and photographs. The archive is not open to the public.
The Krusenstierna archive contains material from the entire von Krusenstierna family. A smaller family archive in Munich, which is in private ownership, contains material from the Estonian branch.
Using material from the archive, Kalmar County Museum showed the exhibition "Two Women, Two Lives" in 2006, which is about Ulla Pehrsson and Karen Grünerwald, both born von Krusenstierna.
